Pathfinder Labs Corporation
About

A new company, saying so in the first paragraph.

THE PATHFINDER LABS CORPORATION LIMITED was incorporated on 1 March 2026 and registered in England and Wales. There is no trading history to show you, no client list and no case studies. This page sets out what does exist, so you can judge the rest of the site against it.

The record

Everything on this page can be checked at Companies House.

These are the facts on the public register. Nothing here is rounded up, and nothing is added to make the company look older or larger than it is.

The work

What applied research and prototyping means here

Applied research, in our sense, is not a literature review. It is building a small piece of working software specifically to settle an argument that cannot be settled on paper: whether a data source is good enough, whether a technique is fast enough on the hardware you actually have, whether people can complete a task at all when it is put in front of them.

Prototyping is the stage after that. Once the question is settled, a prototype turns the answer into something a person can use, so you can watch what happens rather than imagine it. It is deliberately incomplete. It is built to be examined, argued with and then thrown away or rebuilt properly.

Both stages end in the same two things: software you can run, and a written record you can hand to a board, an investor or a supplier without us in the room to explain it.

Limits

Things we will not say, and why they are missing

A new company can borrow credibility cheaply. The following are the specific claims we have decided not to make, so that you can notice if they ever appear.

  • No client names, logos or testimonials. We have not delivered public client work, so there is nothing to show and nobody to quote.
  • No user counts, download figures, revenue or funding. Any number you see on this site refers to a duration, a date or a company registration detail.
  • No certifications we do not hold. We do not hold ISO 27001 certification, a SOC 2 report or Cyber Essentials certification, and will not represent otherwise. If we obtain any of them, the certificate number and issuing body will be published here.
  • No team page, no awards, no founding legend. The company was incorporated on 1 March 2026. That is the whole of the history.
  • What is here instead. A method you can hold us to, a fixed timebox and price per stage, code and findings that belong to you, and an experiment record that will publish negative results on the same terms as positive ones.
Marked, not smoothed over

Where something on this site is not yet settled, it is wrapped in a visible marker like this one rather than written around: [TO CONFIRM: example marker]. If you find a claim on this site that you think we cannot support, write to hello@pathfinderlabs.co.uk and we will either evidence it or remove it.

Our name

Several unrelated businesses use a name close to ours. None of them is us.

The words in our name are in wide use. At least four live organisations in the United Kingdom, the United States and New Zealand trade under something close to it, in fields with nothing to do with each other or with us. To save you time, and to stop anyone being credited or blamed for work that is not theirs, here is how to tell whether you are in the right place.

  • Identify us by the company number, not by the name. We are THE PATHFINDER LABS CORPORATION LIMITED, company number 17061706, registered in England and Wales on 1 March 2026 with a registered office in Romford. The number is unique. The name is not.
  • pathfinderlabs.co.uk is the only website we operate. We publish nothing on any other domain, in any other country, or under any shortened form of the name. If you found something elsewhere, it belongs to somebody else.
  • What we actually do is narrow. Applied research and prototyping in software, for the organisation that commissions it. We design no physical products or hardware, we sell no packaged product, and we work in no regulated public sector field.
  • We are not connected with any of the others. No shared ownership, no shared staff, no partnership, no licence and no history between us. We make no claim over their names or their work, and they make none over ours.
  • If you have arrived here by mistake, say so. Email us and we will tell you plainly that you want a different company, rather than taking a meeting to find out.

This is also why we write the name in full, as Pathfinder Labs Corporation or THE PATHFINDER LABS CORPORATION LIMITED, everywhere on this site, and never in the shortened form that four organisations share.

Next

If the question is real, the first conversation is short.

Send one paragraph describing what you want settled. If it is not something we can help with, we will say that in the reply rather than book a call to say it.
